About DKT International Inc. (Myanmar Branch Office): DKT International is a leader in making modern contraceptives more available, accessible and affordable to people in 28 developing countries worldwide. A social-marketing organization, it promotes its brands competitively in Myanmar as part of a proven sustainability model. However, it also runs donor-funded projects to raise the public’s education level on sexual and reproductive health. Established in 2014, the Myanmar organization is growing and will surpass 50 staff in the coming year, in two regional offices.
DKT International invites applications for the following position in Yangon, Myanmar.
Position:            Brand Manager (Lydia)
Report To:          Senior Manager (Programs & Operations)
Duty Station:    Yangon

About the Job: The Brand Manager (Lydia) is responsible for developing and improving the strategies that grow market and brand's reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth. Contribution to improving Myanmar's Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Education, changing attitudes and working towards increasing the population's access to affordable birth control options are part of the main duties.
Duties include (but are not limited to):  
  • Analyzing brand position in the market and creating brand promoting strategies to the target audience and also implementing them
  • Taking brand ownership and developing new and innovative growth strategies by coordinating with Senior Manager and Head of Communications
  • Overseeing marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy, brand guidelines and organisation direction
  • Leading the creative development for the brand, focusing on SRH Education and changing attitudes
  • Establishing performance specifications, cost and price parameter, market applications and sales estimations
  • Measuring and reporting performance of all marketing campaigns including assessment against goals (ROI and KPIs) to Senior Manager
  • Monitoring market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities in order to identify opportunities and key issues
  • Managing social media and other digital platforms in order to growth the brands (from strategy to execution)
  • Ensuring that all the assigned budget and expenditure for the brand are in line with the rules and regulations by Finance and Account Unit of the organisation
  • Performing other tasks if necessary

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in any disciplines (preferable Diploma/Certificate in Marketing Management)
  • Minimum (5) years' experience in related field
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Good skill of managing budgets and expenses is an asset (preferable proven experience)
  • Ability to lead, supervise and coach the team (perferable proven experience)
  • High creativity, especially in content writing skill
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Good understanding of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) knowledge
  • Comfortable to promote SRH Education and Contraceptive products
  • Ability to prioritize with organized schedule and focus on results
  • Good interpersonal skill, negotiation and communication skill
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent Command of English and Myanmar Language
  • Ability to use standard application software (e.g. Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to travel and work independently
