Responsible and manage legal team to provide day-today legal matters;
Directly handle key and strategic legal issues related to business development, clinical trial, alliance management, litigation, pharmaceutical related matter, crisis and risk management, labor and employment issues;
Ensuring all contracts, agreements, transactions and activities are consistent with Vietnamese laws and relevant applicable regulation and company policies;
Ensure corporate governance and company secretary, review of all mandatory licenses, permits for operating in Vietnam; Ensuring corporate compliance with all pertinent and relevant Vietnamese laws related to VN existence and operations;
Monitor legal developments; ensure that the business considers legal trends and risks in the business strategy.
Providing analysis and advices of business impact of current legislative developments, mainly in the corporate and industrial relations area and recommendations on how company can maximize benefits from them.
Providing counsel and training to balance organization on all legal related matters.
Plan and implement adequate communication as necessary for the relevant regulations, Code, Policies, SOP’s and other relevant standards.
Manage information exchange to ensure the transparency and open communication maintain credibility and trust throughout the organization.
Manage crisis by leveraging internal and external resources and professional knowledge on policy/regulation and government working.
Train, guide/advise, and control Vietnam/Indochina employees in compliance with the local regulation and requirements and standards.
Leading Vietnam processes and teams across a range of legal, regulatory and policy requirements
Responsible for guiding decision-making by the GM Vietnam/Indochina and senior management on significant legal and compliance matters.
Be capable of influencing executives of the importance of legal and compliance and reduction of exposure to risk.
Determine which (if not all) of the currently identified corporate and/or AP business risks apply to the business unit and then monitor and test for appropriate compliance.

Structured and systematic ways of working
At least 5 years as the same role for MTNS FMCG or Pharmacy industry
Excellent understanding of Vietnamese legal system and applicable laws, especially in the corporate, pharmaceutical industrial relations area.
Good analytical skills to identify potential business impact of pending legislation; ability to propose recommendations consistent with business priorities.
Ability to pursue various cases/issues independently and to completion.
Be able to work productively with all elements of the Vietnamese and regional organization, to achieve common business objectives.
Ability to speak, write and explain in plain English and Vietnamese language the workings and implications of current and pending legislation.
Leadership to assess opportunities presented by new legislation, ability to energize others to implement needed changes to maximize such opportunities.
Knowledge & experience with legal requirements and healthcare laws, compliance programs and processes.
Demonstrated risk management, process improvement, and/or project management skills.
Working and management experience (10+ years) at various levels in company or similar organization.
