Our client is a leading Group of Companies in the retail industry. They are seeking for a responsible and confident individual to join their dynamic team as a HR Manager/HR Business Partner.
Oversee the HR department in delivery full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, career development, health & safety issues & work pass management, leadership capability building and succession planning.
Provide HR advice to the Operations Team on dealing with employee issues and managing their performance using proper process and techniques.
Implement and executing HR policies and procedures
Own and drive the strategic direction of HR projects
Commercially savvy, able to navigate the corporate roadmap and maintain a business-driven HR methodology when working with the business units to provide the best practices in human capital solutions.
Ensure that HR strategies and policies are constantly benchmarked against best practices and appropriate changes are implemented.
To provide strategic generalist support and initiatives to the business.
Manage a team of 3 HR personnel
Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field
At least 8 years of HR generalist experience and 5 years in managerial capacity.
Experience in retail or service orientated environment preferred
Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to think logically and strategically.
Excellent inter-personal, communication, leadership and organization skills.
Strong leadership skills; with 3 direct reports
Ability to manage HR related matters for headcount of 500-600
