Job Description

  • Develop an HR strategy to underpin and enable the business strategy.
  • Attract and retain the right people with the right skills by planning, designing and delivering efficient HR programmes and processes.
  • Understand the businesses, analyse, diagnose, identify and create relevant action plans with a view to resolving HR issues.
  • Advise the MD and business leaders on their respective human capital issues, requirements, talent development and management, etc.
  • To develop and oversee the execution of plans to build the HR function’s capability in line with the organisation's business objectives and to drive high performance in the HR team.
  • To work with the MD to build an effective leadership team, with the right capabilities and mindset to support the business.
  • Role model key leadership competencies and behaviours.
  • To support the Regional HR Director in delivering new initiatives in Thailand and working on collaborative activities across South East Asia.
  • Implement and maintain a job evaluation scheme, which links to market based reward packages.
  • Providing solutions, alternatives, consultation, advice and guidance to the business units on people management, processes, policies and guidelines.
  • Be the lead authority on Thai employment legislation (current and likely future) and best practice employment conditions
  • To develop and deliver a best practice Employee Relations plan and to act as key interface with the Trace Unions.

Job Requirements

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Possesses a degree or equivalent and ideally a professional qualification
  • Strong experience in volume recruitment
  • Experience in dealing with Labour Relations and Trade Unions
  • Experience in identifying and developing talent, including succession planning and career development
  • Experience in creating and delivering leadership development programmes
  • Excellent oral and written English.
  • Possesses exceptional inter-personal & organisational skills
  • Be resourceful and self-motivated.
  • Experience interacting with multiple business units and functional teams.
  • Experience with project management and project delivery methodologies
