Job Description

  • Work closely with senior management teams in both overseas and local office in Thailand.

  • Provide a professional, advisory and executive support service to the Managing Director to assist in meeting strategic goals of the establishment.

  • Drive the on-going development and implementation of Human Resource policies for the organization.

  • Liaise with Department Heads and make recommendations regarding Human Resource issues including staffing levels.

  • Analyze staff turnover and sick leave with the aim of implementing strategies for reduction.

  • Develop recruitment strategies and oversee the efficient and timely hiring of all associates. Ensure the systems are appropriate and procedures are followed.

  • Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans.

  • Oversee the effective administration of personnel records and files in line with Corporate policies and local regulators.

  • Develop and administer employee recognition programs.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and policies to achieve corporate/business objectives .

  • Support the business objectives with the HRD process by developing and implementing performance management tools.

  • Provide consultancy services and correspondence to all managers to ensure that the performance management process is understood and correctly implemented.

  • Create, develop, and implement company rules and regulations compliance with the provision of local labor laws.

  • Ensure effective recruitment system for both management and non-management to help meet business objectives/requirements.

  • Assess training needs, develop and implement training programs in alignment with needs identified so as to develop an efficient and effective workforce capable of supporting the business.

  • Facilitate timely management decision making at top management level and operating levels by providing comprehensive human resources information related to the business.

  • Manage and promote Employee Relations by having frequent messages and adopting a problem-solving approach to employee relations issues.

  • Maintain a friendly environment within the organization as well as initiate tools to promote excellent employee relations across the organization.

  • Ability to interact with Senior Management.

  • Experience and knowledge of large manufacturing operations across multiple locations.

Job Requirements

  • Requires at least 10 years progressive human resources generalist experience with more than five years at senior management level in an International manufacturing environment. Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope of human resources activities, both operations and analysis.

  • Working knowledge of Thailand employment law preferred.

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree; an advanced degree or professional certification preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong background of HRD and Organizational Development.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Possess excellent analytical and planning & organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate and persuade others.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of organization.

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English, familiar with frequent VDO/Tele-Conference with overseas offices.

  • Able to travel oversea
