About the Human Resource Director Role:
Supporting and directly reporting to Plant Manager, the HR Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource functions and the sourcing of the best talent for Company, as well as maintaining effective programs for retention, promotion and succession planning. At Love pop, you will join a rapidly growing team of very dedicated individuals on a fast expanding multinational company headquartered in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibility:
  • Annually review and make recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organisation's policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure organisation's compliance
  • Maintain responsibility for organisation compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
  • Communicate changes in the organisation's personnel policies and procedures and ensure that proper compliance is followed
  • Assist executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organisation's wage and salary program
  • Coordinate or conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
  • Consult with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CEO, on personnel matters
  • Work directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters
  • Recommend, evaluate and participate in staff development for the organisation
  • Develop and maintain a human resource information system that meets the organisation's personnel information needs
  • Supervise the staff of the human resource department
  • Participate on committees and special projects and seek additional responsibilities
  • Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning
  • Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan
  • Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, and contractual and intern personnel. Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimise overall time-to-start. Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimising cost-per-hire
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates

Job Requirements

  • Above fifteen years' experience in HR field, minimum of eight years in management position
  • Experience in manufacturing environment with 1,000+ headcounts
