Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist the Head, Human Resource in planning, managing and developing human resource and providing efficient administration support.

Learning & Development

  • Develop a company-wide training roadmap

  • Identify staff training needs so as to develop individual skill competency

  • Manage the mentorship programme

  • Ensure training & development conforms to ISO requirement

  • Apply for government training grant.


Welfare and Benefits

  • Develop and implement initiatives and activities to:

    • Support work-life balance in line with government’s initiative

    • Promote healthy workplace that leads to better staff’s well-being and productivity



  • Ensure relevance of benefits


Recruitment & Retention

  • Conduct recruitment & shortlisting of new staff

  • Administer & conduct new staff orientation & training

  • Conduct exit interview

  • Administer employee satisfaction survey


Performance Management

  • Manage annual and mid-year staff appraisal

  • Foster and reinforce corporate culture, values and team spirit


Administration

  • Manage all administration & maintenance related to building, office, equipment, purchasing, equipping & rental.

  • Administer general insurance policy, claims & compensation.

  • Review & update Employees’ Handbook.

  • Review & update HR & Administration policy.

  • Secretary for Senior Management Meeting.

  • Update & review organization structure & job descriptions.

  • Manage staff seating plan.

  • Budgeting for annual HR training, welfare and operating cost for all departments.

  • Processing and submission of payroll, CPF contributions, surveys and reports to Management and Government agencies.

Job Requirements


  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience

  • Reading and verbal fluency in both Mandarin and English is a prerequisite, to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Knowledge of employment laws and practices and able to set up and implement HR management and development policies and procedures
