Job Description

The successful candidate is responsible for driving and grow the retail distribution business through partnering with the existing and/ or new distributors to deliver sell-in/out targets and robust market growth.
  • Lead retail sales and field generated sales teams to drive development of channel partner's capabilities through consultation and coaching in delivering sales growth
  • Oversee channel partner's activities and recommend appropriate marketing strategies and activities
  • Develop new channels partners in market where current partners have no expertise or no access to build strong relationships with re-sellers/dealers/retailers to ensure support and close rapport
  • Manage and ensure good return of investment on all retail promotional activities. Monitor and track retail outlets performances
  • Support and ensure all retail outlets display and Point of Sale Materials are in tip top state
  • Work with Project Business team to build relationship with specifiers in markets where we do not have local staff to help increase the project pipelines
  • Ensure retail sales promoters proficiency and professionalism

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
  • At least 8 years of sales and marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a similar capacity in multinational company. Sanitary or Building Products industry experience is an added advantage
  • A proven leader who can mentor, coach and motivate others and bring them to greater heights of performance
  • A highly initiative entrepreneur who is result driven,analytical, bright, persuasive, imaginative and aggressive
  • An articulate and excellent communicator (verbal and written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia) who has high tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity and must be able to adjust readily as conditions warrant in a rapidly changing environment
  • A diplomatic and tactful person who is confident, flexible and "street-smart" and possess good business judgement and a sense of urgency
  • Must be able and willing to spend considerable time travelling in the market
