Planning, coordinating and directing the financial function, including profit planning, forecasting, budgetary controls, cost accounting, general accounting and cost estimating, invoice processing (accounts payable) and collection activities (accounts receivable).
Ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results, including monthly and quarterly closing and reporting in accordance with deadlines.
Preparing local statutory financial reports and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and adherence to standard accounting principles and practices. (IFRS and GAAP)
Providing financial analysis, interpretation of variances from plan/forecast, and advice to management.
Overseeing the preparation of profit plans and forecasts.
Ensuring the development, preparing and implementing of accounting procedures and database to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation.
Analysing and forecasting results for alternative courses of action to assist management in short and long term planning.
Identifying any control gaps in the business procedures, processes or systems, and initiate appropriate remedial action.
Maintaining an environment of strong internal controls, SOX compliance and “no surprises”.
Leading various audits (internal, external).
Coordinating payroll processing and payments to employees and Social Security Authorities.
Working closely with all business line managers to evaluate and conduct feasibility analysis of new and existing business plans/projects, monitoring financial trend/KPI and feasibility different activities and contracts.
Authorizing and approving expenses, capital expenditures and bank transactions.
Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and efficiency gains.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar management role with a multi-national corporation, in commercial/sales environment, preferably in technology, FMCG, start-up industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Economics with Professional Accounting qualification (For example, ACA, CPA, ACCA)
Minimum 3 Years Audit Experience with Big 4 is preferred
Working knowledge of US GAAP and Thailand Accounting Standards.
Good command of English.
Proficient in SAP/Oracle, Word and Excel, PowerPoint knowledge required.
