Job Description

As part of the Airlines Senior Management Team, the Head will develop and implement the digital strategy to build brand value and deliver increased sales through the online channels. The role will be responsible for best practice technologies and infrastructure to improve the customer experience and satisfaction, effective digital marketing to reach new customers and superior research and analytics capability to provide insightful measurement of the organisation's online activities and changing customer behaviour.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Key focus areas will include digital innovation, campaign development, content strategy, social strategy and paid media strategy
  • Partner closely with Leadership Team to translate business objectives into campaigns that maximize  revenue opportunities
  • Develop and execute a global content strategy that delivers against marketing metrics, including awareness, consideration, engagement and conversion
  • Work closely with the Branding and Marketing Teams to ensure brand consistency throughout the digital channels and raise awareness of Royal Brunei Airlines brand in international markets
  • Build relationships with relevant business partners at highest levels to ensure best customer support, effective marketing and early adoption of relevant technologies
  • Ensures good customer experience and satisfaction through the digital channels
  • Manages the risk associated with digital sales by ensuring appropriate tools and systems are used to mitigate fraud and other risks
 

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of the travel industry backed with a travel related qualification, preferably a degree in the relevant field such as marketing or business studies
  • Proven senior level digital marketing experience across all digital disciplines
  • Knowledge of emerging markets and trends within the wider digital industry
  • The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines in a busy and evolving environment
  • Excellent project management, problem solving, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Leadership skills to lead, motivate and maintain good team performance
