Head the credit card department and ensure overall operations are in compliance with rules and regulations
Develop, implement, and evaluate risk strategies on customers. The role will also be in charge of developing test plans and ensure that all strategies have been successfully and accurately implemented.
Conduct new customers’ internal ratings & MAS grading, conduct periodical financial analysis of new customers, and update the customers’ profile and so on based on the latest financial results of the customers.
Ensuring credit application/ proposals/ approval are in line with banking policy and proceduresand conduct independent credit assessment on credit proposals submitted to attain quality portfolio growth for the Bank without taking unmanageable risks.
Ensure our regulators, including the MAS are kept appraised of our compliance and engender a positive relationship.
Degree in Business/Banking/Finance/Accountancy
5 - 10 years' of managerial experience and proven track records leading or managing Credit Card projects and managing credit Risk portfolio in banking or financial institution.
Experience in managing New Account, credit scoring systems, credit bureau reports and reporting, collections strategy, fraud mitigation, merchant processing and financial regulatory requirements as well as the ability to analyze the performance of segments of the portfolio, credit criteria, and credit application processing workflow.
You must be capable of identifying issues, making recommendations and implementing corrective actions and will closely with unit level staff and management to achieve business objectives.
Familiar with MAS guildlines
Strong organizational, financial, systems, communications, planning, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong risk control mindset.
