Job Description

Since 2007 we have been successfully designing and developing hotels, since 2010 we also manage hotels for our clients. We have grown from our first managed Fusion Maia Resort in Danang, Vietnam to a multi-property, multi-brand hospitality business with currently 7 hotels in operation and another 11 under development.

Serenity is going places! We are rapidly expanding our portfolio of unique resorts and hotels in Vietnam with our three brands, Fusion, A La Carte and Alma and are now looking for an energetic, experienced, passionate and inspiring Group Director Operations or Chief Operating Officer to support our expansion strategy.

As our Group Director Operations, you are a Brand Champion, charged with developing and nurturing our brand portfolio.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you….
  • have the ability and drive to convert our company’s vision into reality.
  • are responsible for the overall performance of the hotels and the long-term strategic direction of our brands
  • will focus on delivering outstanding customer service, as this is the primary requisite for the long-term viability of our brands
  • will maximize profitability of the hotels by managing the hotel’s finances through the planning and controlling of revenue streams, cash flow and expenses
  • empower and coach your General Managers to run their respective hotels, be hard working and have a positive attitude.
  • will strongly influence corporate culture and achieve bottom-line results, while maintaining asset integrity
  • are a creative thinker, and are not just good at controlling costs, but are also skilled at generating additional revenue
  • have superior communication and presentation skills, both oral and written and you are well organized, computer literate, and detail-oriented.
  • have highly developed interpersonal skills and as an ideal candidate, you will be equally adept at dealing with hotel owners, peers, and employees at all levels
  • possess high levels of credibility and respect within the industry and present a positive image of the company both internally and externally
  • are a strategic thinker and will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of growing a business and/or brand.

Job Requirements

  • have managed and been accountable for the operational and financial performance of multi-hotel properties at the same time
  • are a seasoned hotel professional, familiar with the South Asian, South East Asian and East Asian hotel markets
  • have experience in developing relevant infrastructure forming the foundation of our future success

  • expertise in boutique resort hotel operations, hotel openings, re-brandings, transitions, and hotel renovations which are critical characteristics.
