Job Description

Based in Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan Province), the GM is responsible for the entire hotel operations. Her/his scope of responsibilities covers the financial results (revenues, cost of sales, payroll & related expenses, other expenses, departmental incomes, gross operating income (if notified), cash flow, new & replacement investments), adherence to standards of product and service, management of human resources, and Sales & Marketing strategy.

Main tasks include:

  • Planning and organizing hotel services, promoting the business

  • Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure

  • Setting and achieving sales and profit targets

  • Ensuring the development of a realistic and attainable strategic business plan that defines operational goals and profitability objectives

  • Leading, through subordinate staff, the effective management of the functional areas to maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing levels of guest satisfaction

  • Planning work schedules for individuals and teams

  • Creating an operating environment to assures that consistent guest satisfaction

  • Dealing with customer complaints and comments

  • Addressing problems and troubleshooting

  • Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings

  • Dealing with contractors and suppliers

  • Ensuring security is effective

  • Carrying out inspections of property and services

  • Setting an example for all staffs to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guests' needs and expectations

  • Coordinating capital improvement projects to maintain/upgrade quality standards and property image, and to protect assets from neglect, damage or deterioration

  • Conducting regular staff and employee meetings

  • Understanding the government regulations affecting hotel operations, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

Job Requirements


  • University graduated in Hospitality

  • At least 05 years experience in Hospitality

  • English fluent (both writing and speaking)
