Roles & Responsibilities
  • To spearhead corporate initiative to introduce Business Process Management, Systems, and work procedures across all levels corporate – business-functional-team in Power Business
  • Lead improvement programs to increase productivity across the group’s business units and drive results in all areas.
  • To work closely with senior management, functional heads, domain consultants and experts in various phases of implementation, act as a catalyst to integrate systems/ procedures and people in the organization
  • To act as Management Representative (MR) and work closely with external Management Consultants (MC), deliver all required inputs to MC, interface between MC and Organization, resolve all conflicts/divergent perspectives through deliberations and working out the most suitable and productive business practice
  • To implement the initiative as a Project within the constraints of scope-time-cost parameters, capturing the knowledge/data/lessons/documents and archiving appropriately electronically
  • To work out the productivity matrix, define measurement and control mechanism and achievement road map
  • To conduct workshops, open debates and opinion generating platform, collect inputs and working out process improvement together with MC
 

Job Requirements

Experience profile
  • 15 + Years strong EPC business background in Power/Oil & Gas/Infrastructure sector in MNC or company of repute with structured process and procedure; have led multiple functional teams and delivered consistent results; 5 + years in senior role at least as Functional head
  • Should have strong understanding in EPC process and systems combining all driving functions, worked in multiple major functions like Project Management, PMO operations, Construction, Supply Chain and contracts, Quality and Engineering
  • Should have experience in implementing complete life cycle of at least one concept project (productivity improvement, Standard Operating Procedures, lean process implementation, innovation and process excellence, standardization) in a business unit having not less than 200 people
  • Should be conversant with latest tools and techniques in Project Management, Planning, Scheduling, Project controls, construction, tendering and estimation, supply chain management, site management, quality systems; its effectiveness, working out other practical options and implementing  fast decision making/lean process
  • Should have good understanding about organization structure, standard operating procedure, and work procedures specifically in EPC environment
 
Key skills and Education
  • Analytical, process oriented, structured in approach, performance focused
  • Innovative and out of box thinker; strong communication capability, Language skill in English, high energy, passionate and inclination to work with diversified teams/people
  • Six sigma Black/green belt preferred; hands on capability
  • Should be Bachelor in Engineering/Business management, preferably with Project Management certification
  • Age : 40 Yrs plus
