The primary responsibility of the General Manager is to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.
He/she oversees all aspects of the resort operations including: guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, food and beverages, maintenance of premises and equipment, finances, team building, and staff development.
He/she develops an annual work plan to reach management goals and ensures this plan is understood and properly implemented by all staff. He/she reports regularly to the Owners on progress and challenges.
The General Manager promotes the image and interests of the resort and liaises with travel agencies, tour operators, local officials, suppliers and guests.
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
At least three to four-year experience in hotel or hospitality industry, including some in South-East Asia, preferably Laos.
Good written and spoken English; ability to communicate in Lao and/or Thai desirable.
Good Computer skills.
