The Director of Sales & Business Development is responsible for increasing B2X market share in Vietnam and in APAC with Samsung Electronics, by selling solutions to Samsung and other B2B customers. This position will drive business growth and sales for current accounts with focus on Samsung in APAC, as well as winning new accounts. The individual will be responsible for relationship management, pipeline development, negotiations, deal closing, contract management with Samsung and other accounts (including dealers and other service partners), as well as sales forecasting for the assigned territory.
Your key responsibilities:
Lead and develop the customer relationship with Samsung Electronics in Vietnam and in Asia Pacific
Build and expand the relationships and business volume with other existing and promising OEM brands in Vietnam
Manage the relationships and daily interaction with strategic partners in Vietnam, such as key consumer electronics retailers
Work closely aligned with B2X Global Sales Team, in particular the Global Samsung Account Management Team
Position and sell B2X managed solutions and platforms to B2B customers such as Mobile OEMs, Insurances, Carriers and Retailers to stimulate consumer demand and deliver profitable market share growth
Account Management responsibilities for customer relationships, sales, planning, and execution
Lead development of new business plans to meet customers’ needs and maximize business opportunities
Interface with SCM, Marketing, Planning and Operations in order to allow B2X to deliver customer demands
Maintain market intelligence information related to client accounts supported to include market share, pricing, competition, etc.
Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals, consumer electronics and related services
Regular update and maintain Sales database in the SalesForce system as appropriate
Assist the organization in conveying customer needs to COO, CTO and technical staff for future product development
Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of B2X’s systems and processes
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Sales and Account Management, preferably in the after-sales or professional services industry. Account management experience in the distribution/retail/telecommunications would be a preference
Exceptional track record of targeting and closing deals with C-level executives at new enterprise customers
Vast experience in dealing with larger companies and successfully managing various hierarchy and decision-making levels
Able to demonstrate a history of closing professional services deals at or above $500K and annual quota attainment above $ 5million
University degree (minimum Bachelors’ degree)
Fluent in Vietnamese and English, additional Asian languages as an advantage
Possess strong leadership qualities, self-driven and enthusiastic, with the ability to engage and motivate others for common goals
Bring relevant contacts and sales information of large enterprise customers that can be engaged in a non-conflicting way
High degree of product knowledge and technical terms used by customers in the consumer electronics (focus on smartphones) and telecommunications industry
Proven experience working in a multinational results-oriented environment and in leading virtual deal teams
Strong project management, analytical, organizational skills, with the ability to build and close a pipeline of deals in a structured way
Self-starter with ability to work both autonomously and within international teams
Expertise of MS Office applications – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SalesForce experience as an advantage
