We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing & Public Relations Manager at Compass Hospitality’s head office based in Bangkok. This position will report to VP-Sales & Marketing and work closely with the executive & Digital Marketing teams. This position is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all Compass Hospitality’s marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations activities, both external and internal.
Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of:
Comprehensive marketing, communication and public relations program that will enhance Compass Hospitality’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public and facilitate internal and external communications:
All Compass Hospitality’s marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, client acquisition and so forth
Ensure articulation of Compass Hospitality’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the organization and assure communication of image and position to all parties, both internal & external
Write press releases, case studies and contributed articles.
Serve as primary point of contact for PR Agency as well as all press, analysts, and media.
Assist in the development of a positive brand image with key publics to include prospects, clients, analysts, partners, shareholders, and the local community.
Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all Compass Hospitality & its properties publications.
Coordinate the appearance of all organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, taglines, brochures, etc.
Track monthly public relations performance and compare to performance for key competitors.
Field requests for speaking engagements, research projects, interviews, and corporate sponsorships; research and facilitate speaking engagements for Compass Hospitality’s executives.
Develop short and long term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
Recommend short and long term organization goals and objectives to the Executive team
Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communication and public relations, not-for-profit management and governance.
Thai Nationality, Male or Female
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations, or a similar field; MBA is a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications or public relations
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet research, PR Newswire.
