Job Profile: Working under the Critical Facilities and Engineering team in Hong Kong, to manage and assist with the delivery of a range of regional roll out and single projects for our prestigious clients.
Main Purpose of the Job:
Lead on all engineering, critical systems, environmental and energy matters.
To ensure delivery of excellent services to the Client/Customers, including reviewing capability and up skilling/recruitment.
Support the development and delivery to other EC Harris Clients as required.
Deliver the best possible outcomes to Clients, Stakeholders and Customers through best in class Engineering, Energy and Environmental solutions.
Interface and build strong relationships with Client (Regional and Local) and key Stakeholders
Integrate engineering support with our Client/Customers
Support on project bids from a service expert perspective and delivering consistency of service across new FM commissions regionally
Review and develop improved ways working as appropriate to drive the ongoing development of maintenance regimes with a specific focus on critical systems.
Introduce best practice and innovative ideas/solutions for the benefit of Clients/EC Harris
Develop a training and development plan for facilities engineers
Actively engage externally in the wider engineering community, bringing to the commission best practise solutions which are commercially viable.
Be part of the wider Commission community, providing support to others and collaborating on commission solutions.
Engage with EC Harris AP&FM community at all levels
Advice, motivate and coach team members.
Degree in Engineering / Building Services or relevant discipline
Professional Membership in IFMA FMP/ MRICS/ MHKIE is preferable ; Chartered Engineer is an advantage
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in this field
Commercial understanding and able to develop business cases on engineering and environmental solutions
Be able to influence senior managers and have excellent stakeholder management
Proficient in the complete Consulting toolkit
Strong leadership, management and organisational skills
Be the “expert” around engineering and critical systems
Be a good communicator and able to discuss opportunities with staff in a knowledgeable and influential way
Be able to challenge when appropriate
Excellent communications, both verbal and written in English. Cantonese and Mandarin is advantage
