Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall management of the Design Operations Support activities including Design coordination, Quality, BIM/Revit.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of standards and systems for quality assurance in all design activities.
  • Ensure that the design documents and their coordination between disciplines meet the company's quality standards.
  • Ensure design changes are properly coordinated across architecture and engineering disciplines to make sure that all drawings are updated and accurate.
  • Ensure that all checks and drawing audits are well planned with the project teams and undertaken in a timely manner in parallel with the design process.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and initiate Non-Conformance Reports to ensure that corrective and efficient corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assistance to Design Managers in their design contract administration, acquire and understand local regulations (planning, building and fire codes).
  • Facilitate communication between Design Managers and clients, subcontractors, other consultants and local authorities.
  • Monitor design schedule and approval process, initiate payment requests.
  • Development and implementation of the BIM plan.
  • Review, and propose suggestions to implement continuous improvement practices for quality management on Design.
  • Set up standards and workflows of BIM for Cost Management and project departments.

Job Requirements

  • Master in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Major in Architectural, Civil & Structural Designing or equivalent.
  • Experience in multicultural team management.
  • Strong design aesthetic and the ability to produce high quality design.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate all 3 disciplines Architecture, MEP and C&S.
  • Ability to anticipate and prevent, or address creatively design mistakes for the benefit of the client and the company.
  • Leadership skills, ability to organize and manage the time of others in a highly efficient manner and demonstrate decisiveness and issues management.
  • Strong and stable ability in using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit, and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced communication skills including the ability to make project presentations, manage difficult clients, coordination of design teams.
  • Seniority: a minimum 15 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Management level: at least 5 years of experience at similar position in multinational working environment.
