Job Description

Our client, a reputable international bank, is looking for a high caliber candidate as their Director --- the key account manager of a Global Conglomerate in Commodity businesses. The candidate will provide frontline coverage to the portfolio, and will need to work closely with the Top management of the client, the bank and various stakeholders in the Bank to achieve the financial targets set for the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Global Account manager to co-ordinate between the bank and the Key Global Client
  • Work in a strategic level to plan and execute the business solutions to meet the Global Client’s need
  • Proactively engage with and monitor well in top level both internally (the Overseas Account Managers and Field Account Managers), and externally (The key client)
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell the wide range of products offered by the Bank
  • Ensure compliance of the Bank's policies and guidelines, such as Customer Due Diligence requirements and Group Credit policies, at all times
  • Establish rapport and good working relationship with various stakeholders in the Bank (e.g. Credit, Product Partners, Operations)
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members

Job Requirements

  • University graduate with relevant years of proven track record in frontline relationship management role for Global clients. Experience in Commodity Finance segment is an advantage
  • Experience to lead and originate deal
  • Well understanding of broad range of Corporate Banking products (Trade Finance, Structured Trade, Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, DCM, ECM) with ability to do cross-selling with the existing and prospect clients
  • Use to work in core bank and has experience to participate in the arranger deals
  • Internationally minded, good communication skills and able to build rapport with different stakeholders and the Top management of the Large Corporate clients. The candidate needs to have a good command of English
  • Proactive and driven to finding solutions, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
