To provide additional support to the International Brand & Marketing Director and to drive the strategic development and end to end implementation, management and guardianship of the PizzaExpress brand. Also will be pivotal in working with direct report in building and seeding a Digital Culture within Marketing and the entire company. Ensuring PE remains Hong Kong’s favourite ‘foodie chain’, constantly differentiating the brand in a crowded, increasingly sophisticated marketplace – physically and digitally.
Implement and managing all digital & social media marketing campaigns, events and PR-relevant initiatives, ensure the brand and its identity are attractive, clear and widely understood within Hong Kong restaurants. Seek alignment on behalf of the marketing team cross-functionally as appropriate.
Formulate and develop annual PR & Digital/Social strategies and media outreach in Hong Kong in order to achieve the optimum level of focus on brand equity, consumer needs and commercial targets.
Research top influencers, competitors, and industry trends, etc.
Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform used and intended audience.
Copy-write, translate, edit and proof-read all corporate collateral and PR materials including but not limited to press releases, newsletters and speeches.
Engage all other divisions across the company, articulating the role, direction and value of the brands through the utilisation of excellent networking, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
Maintain close relationship with internal and external parties on planning and implementing business plans.
Effectively manage PR & Digital agencies and suppliers, to ensure that the PR & digital marketing projects within the total budget are delivered to cost, ensuring forecasts are kept and driving efficiencies wherever possible.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of PR & digital marketing campaigns.
Work closely with direct report to monitor and develop team members’ (includes interns) responsibilities, digital-savviness, advise on projects, and in motivating/inspiring others.
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in PR, Digital Marketing, Advertising or related field. Experience in F&B / hospitality industry is a plus.
Degree or relevant qualification in Public Relations / Digital Communications / Marketing or relevant disciplines.
Ability to build strong relationships, both externally and internally.
A team player & quick adapting person with strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently at the same time.
Cheerful and approachable attitude is a must.
A problem solver with a pro-active and creative minded, enjoy thinking out of the box and contributing ideas.
Dynamic, resourceful, multi-tasked and able to articulate business objectives in a compelling manner and rally others' support.
Confidence and ability to use initiative and make decisions.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Accomplished AI, Photoshop, Word, Excel and PowerPoint user.
Good grasp of results and reporting.
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
