Job Description


  • Oversee the daily operations of the customer service department

  • Manage, develop and supervise a team of Customer Service staff and technician to ensure the overall delivery of efficient and excellent service to customers

  • Develop, manage annual budget, employee development and satisfaction, training of new hires and performance management

  • Proactively identify, review and analyse performance and service gaps and propose resolutions

  • Deal with complex and escalation cases and perform service recovery as and when needed

  • Liaise and work closely with other departments

  • Prepare and submit management reports to the senior management.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the customer service and technical support, including direct management of support personnel.

  • Prepare metrics and analytics on customer service activity.

  • Liaise with Japan HQ & Regional customer service partners with regard of products and customer service issues.

  • Report regularly on key aspects of the business, in accordance with routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements

  • Provide relevant technical information to Operations staff to enable proper operation and maintenance.

  • Communicate with regional counterparts on QC issues, and bridge between Japan and distributors.

Job Requirements


  • Diploma/degree in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution

  • Min 5 years in customer service environment, with at least 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience in customer service or technical

  • Technical background and regional experience is a plus

  • Excellent communications skills, whether verbal or written

  • Effective management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead direct reports to achieve objectives

  • Self-driven and motivated

  • Possess analytical skills
