Develop and plan itineraries, as required, to visit all customers and prospects to insure coverage on a basis of maximum sales potential.
Work with Division, BDM and Key Market Development team to get most updated products or markets information and update to technical support, customer services and customers
Work with Parker Store team to promote responsive products via Parker Stores
Support Distributors to get regular business update and develop business plan for each distributors
Order and expedite delivery of product samples as required.
Communicate, interpret, and submit prices, terms and conditions of sales.
Solicit orders and when necessary, notify and assist customer service in writing orders with difficult specifications or terms.
Train and assist customers regarding new products and application.
Review, explain and answer inquiries concerning company policy on terms such as credit, payment, warranty, service, transportation charges and ensure inclusion in all quotations.
Determine customer and prospect requirement for products including delivery schedules, order placement and lead time as such requirements relate to their production schedules, sales activities and sales forecasts.
Investigate and make recommendations to new applications requiring modifications or new products, and initiate, report and follow up on new product opportunities.
Report all competitive activities with respect to price, products, specifications, performance, service or other details that may be of benefit in guiding the development of divisional planning.
Assist in the development of price and discount schedules with marketing services and participate in sales meetings, seminars, and training as directed.
Compile and prepare periodic customer and sales reports and update management on complete territorial or regional activity.
Requires a bachelorís degree in engineering, master degree (MS or MBA) is preferred.
Experience in sales of engineering products (part components, equipment of system)
Experiences in Heavy Industry , Oil & Gas, Marine or mobile equipment or product range of tube, fitting and hose would be an advantage
Experience and has good understanding of industry / market requirement & standard
Self driven, resilience, accountability and result driven.
Good command of spoken and written English
Computer literacy; Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes etc.
