Overall responsibility and accountability for the HR and admin activities in Vietnam including talent management and succession planning, business partnering, IR/ER, pay and benefit bench marking, policy, payroll, HR system and reports, office admin, performance management and resourcing.
Contributing to the business agenda (e.g. ? Health Safety Security Environment initiatives business transformation projects, etc.)
Business partnering the country coordinator team.
Coordination of the Individual Performance Review and other global, business driven HR processes, programs and projects.
Assistance with launch and implementation of global policies/processes/projects.
Assurance and governance for the global HR policies.
Embedding and functional excellence in policy area.
Policy advice and support, in particular with respect to country compensation and benefits issues.
Providing advice to line managers on IR/ER strategy, policy and processes, e.g. consultation requirements, management of local grievance/disciplinary procedures, etc.
Maintaining regular contact with staff representative bodies and/or union representatives and subcommittees.
Supporting senior Managers in preparing for consultation meetings, negotiation of collective labor agreement, etc.
Representing the business in local and regional IR/ER networks.
Remaining up?to?date with emerging trends, changes in legislation and developing appropriate responses at local level.
Managing Vietnam office admin activities including office and all office related services, transportation, flight agency, etc.
The ideal individual will need to be a graduate caliber HR professional with a minimum of 10 years relevant in FMCG experience preferably in an MNC environment. He/she will need to have a demonstrable track record of building strong teams and implementing robust HR policies, processes and strategies.
The successful candidate will need to be strong operationally as well as being able to contribute strategically to the growth of the business.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills are a must as is the ability to influence individuals at the highest level of the organization.
Fluency in both English and Vietnamese is mandatory.
