Job Description

  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for Singapore or Malaysia and ensures attainment of company sales and profitabilitygoals.
  • Consistently and predictably meet and exceed the financial goals of the business by month, quarter and year.
  • Extensive selling experience and C-level contacts in Telcos, data centre providers, service providers and enterprises in Malaysia or Singapore.
  • Sales pipeline and gap plan development to provide coverage of Singapore or Malaysia sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the companyís customer base.
  • Tight management of territory and account planning with country team, execute in speed and accuracy to meet financial target.
  • Implement the company's sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to customer's decision-makers at all levels.
  • Superior work culture, constantly meet target and obligation, lead and influence country sales team.
  • Ability to prepare very high quality of business proposal and presentation via consultative selling to customers.
  • Strong ability to close sales, strong ability to develop leads and opportunities quickly and systematically via well plan sales activities and business development plan.
  • Seek out new customers, and sales opportunities to help build up the empire.
  • Leads the preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, virtualization, cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, NaaS, SaaS) selling.
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding opportunities & challenges within the market.
  • Represent the companyís business policies in various conferences, trade fairs, and networking events to attract more and more clients.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the assigned country.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of successful sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Very strong sales hunter, ability to develop new business opportunities quickly.
  • Minimum of ten years of business to business sales experience is required, with at least five years of sales management experience for global, national, or key strategic account business.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, especially C-level executive.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them to meet customer requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy.
  • High level of financial and business acumen.
  • Staff consulting and relationship building skills.

  • MBA, BA/BS degree or equivalent.
