Our client is one of the world’s largest multinational professional service providers and specializes in the design, deployment and management of ecommerce, online comprehensive marketing programs, global online shopping and made for organizations with large and worldwide membership bases. The company is searching for a suitable candidate to join its Thailand operations in the position of Country Head of Quality Assurance.
- Managed a QA or software development team with over 20 staff, including designing and executing operational strategies for such teams, and ideally responsible for departmental operational and capital expenditure budgets.
- Hands-on experience of the professional cultures of both Thai and UK or US organisations, and has successfully met the expectations and requirements of a parent UK or US organisation, through the operational management of a Thai-staffed department.
- Delivering QA on Software Development projects which meet customer both internal and external requirements.
- Designed and implemented QA methodologies, including delivering QA through automated test tools for web applications.
- Ensuring the QA function has a strong commercial focus.
- Leading, managing and motivating the QA team members
- Delivering continuous improvement for the QA department.
- Maintain a suitably skilled/trained resource pool able to meet the current/future demands of the business.
- Delivering a cost-effective QA operation and ensuring VSD QA remains within its budget.
- Designing and implementing a QA strategy which delivers all above within the agreed budget.
