The company is a rapidly growing Myanmar company and which is progressively seeking to raise and enhance its capabilities across its various local and international business divisions and which include automotive, pharmaceutical manufacturing & distribution, investment and trading. Its objective is to introduce and maintain operational Best Practices whilst maintaining and growing deep relationships with its global business partners. It aims to achieve this through the systematic hiring of experienced repatriate and expatriate professionals who offer international exposure. The company now wishes to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to steer the next chapter of growth for its flagship Pharma trading, sales, marketing and distribution business. The Position
In a newly-created position, reporting to the Group CEO, the appointed individual will manage the next phase of growth and profitability for the division and which currently enjoys an impressive sales turnover of more than USD$100m supported by close to 1000 local and expatriate employees. The core focus will be toward enhanced top-line revenue generation, new client acquisition and a gradual drive toward regional export sales.
Consequently, the CEO will be responsible for investment proposals that will help to shape, improve and grow the business over the long-term, whilst near-term responsibility will focus toward business development, enhanced sales revenue performance and the establishment of departmental budget and profitability targets complemented by short- to long-term business strategy. In turn this will require effective management and direction-setting relating to BizDev, sales, marketing planning, international trading and finance functions to ensure alignment of vision with day-to-day operational and tactical initiatives whilst monitoring and reporting progress on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Necessarily, the appointed CEO will also be expected to participate in the development of key external client and partner relationships to support the development of integrated customised solutions whilst creating added value to the business. Equally importantly, there will be a requirement to uphold the company’s strong business values, ethics and Best Practices to further enhance the local and international reputation of the firm.
