Job Description

Our client is a global logistics service provider and they are inviting Business Development/ Sales Manager to join their growing business.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively developing new accounts for the company as well as managing the existing pool of accounts for various sectors.
  • This involves active lead generation and conversion of the sales leads to revenue.
  • Improvise, implement and amendments on existing sales strategies to attract new clients, to further develop and expand existing pool of clients.
  • Sales presentations, sales reports and sales forecasts are part of the key deliverables.
  • Analyzing of clients’ requirements and work closely with sale support team to propose of possible logistics solutions and pricing.
  • Managing of business development activities through discussions and finalization of contract with potential clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client relationship management, follow up on inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • RFQ/Tender Management.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or any other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ of relevant aggressive sales experience in the Logistics/ Freight/ Shipping industry.
  • This is a client facing role, candidate has to be confident of his/her communication and negotiation skills with relevant experience in targeting clients from a variety of industries.
  • Candidate must come with a Class 3 license as this is an active sales role and you are expected to make frequent client visits.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to liaise with clients around the region who would be Mandarin- speaking.
  • Possess good sense of responsibility, highly committed and stable with maturity mindset.
