You will develop and implement strategic direction for the launch of the junction box product lines. You will manage the whole project from working with strategic partners to collaborating with the Regional Sales/Product Marketing teams to develop and foster long-term business partnerships that can be leveraged to enable the achievement of our key corporate goals.
Meet/exceed business growth objectives for the product line and locations as established by Sales leadership.
Project Management and launch of the product line.
Evaluation of potential local partners as supplier for the junction box and work closely with the production team to build up a local production site or value-added-centre (VAC), focusing on offering terminal strips in standard and explosion-proof boxes, manufactured according to customers requirement.
Involvement in definition of internal work flow and product strategy and continuous matching with the requirements of the market.
Effectively increase product awareness by driving tactical promotional efforts and engagement activities with Sales and Marketing team, as well as respective channel partners.
Constantly source and document market and competition data for related industry and products.
Develop a competitive market pricing strategy for the assigned product line.
Develop and deliver product & industry training (including applications, competitive products & technologies, and features & benefits training) for internal and channel personnel.
Demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to changing business priorities.
Perform design-in/cross-over wins from competitors and create barriers to competitors in assigned industries and locations.
Report regularly on sales revenue and project status/activity as required by the management team.
Provide pro-active leadership and maintain clear and concise communication channels with individual sales personnel.
Minimum Diploma in Electronics/Electrical. Technical discipline preferred and equivalent business experience in the junction boxes or EX industry.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience with track record in Project Management related to the field of process technology (Ex-sector)
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficient with Windows based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Customer-driven and results-oriented. Self-motivated and ability to take lead.
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
A good team player. Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
Willing to travel regionally
