Job Description

The overall role of the Business Development Manager is to generate revenue through managing existing client accounts/relationships and creating new business opportunities.

  • Revenue generation - Build client base through new client acquisition and by leveraging current accounts. 
  • Expand new markets - Sell to companies from industries other than the Legal industry. 
  • Update CRM database on a regular basis to record sales calls, meetings and overall activity for each account. 
  • Compose proposals and quotes for potential and existing clients. 
  • Attend industry and other networking events as a representative and to uncover any business opportunities. 
  • Follow up new clients for feedback and further potential sales.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications - degree qualified (legal, IT or business) or other relevant qualification 
  • Strong track record in achieving challenging revenue goals 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate to both a technical and non technical audience 
  • Prior B2B solution sales experience within a Professional Services environment highly preferred
