The position is responsible for the growth and profitable sales of professional lighting in the country and the primary logistical interface for project partners as well as to ensure that partner/customer commitments are being met through the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and Order-to-Remittance (OTR) process. He/She will work cross-functionally to provide an exceptional experience for the company lighting’s partners/clients.
Full responsibility and authority for project sales and profitability to meet the annual sales budget, identify and develop project segment partnership for sustainable growth.
Build a solicitation plan for target products to generate the sales leads pipeline of near and long-term opportunities.
Hold impactful presentations to external stakeholders such as lighting designer, architect, consultant, contractor and end-users to inspire them to specify company lighting’s solutions; clearly demonstrate the value proposition.
Understand customer Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) and provide solutions that create customer value.
Coordinate sales and marketing activities within country such as seminars, tradeshows, etc.
Proactively managing scope to ensure that what was agreed to is delivered, unless changes are approved through scope management. Provide clear communication to Supply Chain on orders coming in for non-stocked, large quantity volumes to meet customer requested dates.
Anticipate customer needs and trends; develop and implement customer specific solutions to enhance our values.
To keep abreast of industry trends and able to communicate the information succinctly at short notice.
Provide continuous sales outlook, marketing feedback and country overview.
Local nationality, Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum five years project sales experience, specializing in lighting products and previous utilization of a CRM Tool.
Ability to effectively identify and qualify prospects in new market areas with strong technical aptitude.
Equipped with skill sets in project sales channel development, market analysis and partner account plan development and reviews.
Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position, strong negotiation and closing skills.
Results-driven with a sense of urgency and strong follow up skills.
In-depth knowledge of Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and Order-to-Remittance (OTR) process.
Self-starter, multi-tasking and ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills in English.
Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers.
Able to travel.
