Job Description

Our client is a premium-luxury hospitality brand.

Responsibilities:
  • Driving Business Development and Sales Strategy and Execution for the greater Hong Kong market
  • Seeking out and targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiating/developing, continuously optimizing, and executing action/strategy plan to approach and secure new business;
  • Sales Channel Development: doing the above through development, along with Business Development team members, of a variety of strategic sales and referral channels targeting the HNWI/luxury lifestyle and travel connoisseur demographic;
  • Formulating plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals, objectives and targets, including optimization of incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets;
  • The desired individual will have significant years of experience in the areas of sales, business development, channel development and optimization, sales team performance management, leadership, coaching, training. S/he must possess the ability to establish credibility with external and internal customers. Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is highly desirable.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the Hong Kong market with some exposure to either of the following areas: Luxury Products and Services;
  • Mid-to-Higher-Volume Luxury Products/Services (e.g. private jets being a low-volume-sale luxury product);
  • HNWIs (their needs, how to connect with them, how to sell to them in a non-aggressive yet effective way);
  • Direct Sales (i.e. active-pursuit of client, involving client entertainment, etc.);
  • Strong track-record of HNWI “Closing” Experience (rather than just lead generation);
  • Very strong experience in and ability to persuade HNWIs (Chairmen, CEOs, celebrities, partners of the above, etc.) to buy a premium luxury product/service.
  • Active (rather than passive) sales experience
  • Strong understanding of and experience in the luxury products/services industry and sales systems to drive a growing business;
  • Ability to achieve personal goals while supporting overall team effort;
