Job Description

• Provide leadership and direction in driving agency business and ensuring growth of the assigned agency  development executive in his/her area

• Develop, build, drive, manage, coach and mentor agents in agency management

• Develop agency expansion opportunities

• Indentify potential market segment (eg. use internal database, external market information, local market condition, industry market scan, competitors marketing pattern etc)

• Draw agency expansion plan with agents and obtain management endorsement (includes both organics and inorganic direct  recruitment of leaders)

• Provide agency services and act as conduit between agency force and company

• Establish and maintain strong relationship with agency leaders and regional Operation Manager

• Collaborate with business stakeholder and ensure smooth and excellence back room business processes

• Foster and enforcing business relationship and harmony in agency force

• Promote good governance and ensure compliance to business rules at all times

• Collate, analyse and establish controls on non compliance issues. Send monthly reports to Head Sales and Dept

• Design, plan and execute local sales campaign/initiatives according to expenses

• Evaluate agents management skill (eg: public speaking, conduct /handle agency meeting /leadership etc

• Plan, prepare, collate and submit annual production budget and management expenses to Head Sales – new business, renewal numbers of cases and number of recruitment

• Monitor and ensure timely distribution of business report

Job Requirements

•Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Insurance/Actuarial/IT or any other related fields with at least 5 years working experience

• Able to interact at all levels of the organization

• High integrity and having the required personal qualities to effectively carry out an independent oversight function

• Individuals with good leadership qualities and technical knowledge in insurance, takaful and regulations will be considered

• Portray positive values (including teamwork, integrity, growth, efficiency/excellence and relationship building) to the organization and able to influence others to apply the positive values in the Department and throughout the organization
