Job Description

This client is one of the leading global players in the outdoor/lifestyle fashion industry. As a successful company, they are currently growing rapidly and are currently looking to hire a Sales Manager to look after the APAC market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on a comprehensive sales and distribution plan that best positions the Brand for long term success
  • Lead the sales strategy in the region by ensuring proper sales support, administration & service to all accounts in APAC
  • Build and maintain close & continual relationships with all partners resulting in an increased distribution base and enhanced Brand position
  • Regularly manage customers outside of the key sales periods to maintain relationships and offer guidance on POS, marketing support and stock availability
  • Ensure that high brand standards are maintained and that all relevant sales and brand initiatives are executed, or developed to grow the brand in APAC
  • Coordinate a multi-channel sales and distribution strategy to achieve business growth targets
  • Maintain, update and control margins, key account/promotional discounts, product exclusivity periods and to regularly evaluate such agreements
  • Identify and evaluate specific business opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • At least eight years’ experience within a sales and marketing environment
  • Proven track record in developing, leading and coordinating multi-channel sales and distribution strategies, potentially including retail operations, and in delivering commercial success, measured in KPI’s
  • Multi-country business development / sales experience within the APAC region
  • Experience of building a consumer apparel/footwear/lifestyle brand through selling concepts, not just product
  • Exposure to working within a US culture/organisation
  • Experienced and high-impact communication skill in representing a business in front of internal and external stakeholders (distribution partners, customers)
  • Execellent MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel & MS Power Point skills
  • Organisational and problem solving skills with a keen eye for details
  • Independent with entrepreneurial skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Ability to travel in extensively in the region, as required
